Micaela Shawl

A shawl inspired by the texture and colors of my hometown- olive trees, hazelnut bushes, and yellow grass. As classic, timeless, and fun to knit as it gets. This asymmetric triangular shawl is knit in an addictive combination of garter and fisherman’s rib stitch. I love complicated shawl designs! But I always end up picking up simpler designs to wear every day. The finished piece looks like something in between a scarf and a wrap in a fantastically textured look. It was designed with holidays in mind, the kind of project that can sit on your hands as you talk to your family and friends and sip your favorite drink.
