I created this shawl using the ogee lace pattern found in Barbara Walkers book Second Treasury of Knitting Patterns. The other lace pattern incorporated in the stole was created from a stitch that I came across in a Japanese lace pattern that I had found and there is a photo tutorial included in the pattern for this stitch to help you along the way.
The yarn I used to create this shawl was the Zen Yarn Garden Serenity Lace in the Arctic colorway. But you can use any lace weight yarn you desire. I also incorporated Miyuki 8 mix Peacock Garden beads but again you can choose your own colorway of beads to match your yarn or not even incorporate the beads into your work. I added the beads to this stole a I went with a crochet hook so that you do not have to string a ton of beads onto your yarn before starting your work. I also included a photo tutorial on how to add beads with a crochet hook to help.
You can adjust the size of this stole to your yarn needs. In saying this you can make the stole longer or shorter by just adjusting how many repeats you complete.
I hope you enjoy this pattern.
