This elegant fitted top has inverted pleat detail at the front and back, and features a textured lower section in Rose Stitch and lighter toned upper section in Twisted Stocking Stitch, scoop neckline and three quarter length sleeves. The yarn used here, Blacker Swan Falkland Islands Wool 4ply, is beautiful to work with and comes in many lovely shades if you are feeling adventurous to experiment or stay with this ultra elegant combination. The stitch patterns – Rose Stitch and Twisted Rib – are undemanding, but there is moderate technical challenge in making the pleats. This pattern includes details of their construction.
