Product Details
This is a knitting pattern for a tiny stuffed toy called Mini Winnie. All parts of the toy, except for the ears, are knitted in the round and then sewn onto the body. Knitting in the round helps reduce the number of seams, giving the toy a smooth, seamless appearance. The sweater is knitted flat on 2 needles.
NOTE: Please note that knitting this toy can be a bit challenging due to its small size. Working with a small number of sts can be fiddly at times, so some knitting experience is recommended for this project.
MATERIALS: yellow DK yarn approximately: 10 - 15 g
red DK yarn approximately: 5 - 10 g
KNITTING GAUGE:
24 sts and 28 rows to 10 x 10 cm = 4” x 4” in stocking stitch (knit row on right side, purl row on wrong side) and 2.5 mm needles.
Gauge is not critical for this project. Work tight enough to make sure the stuffing would not show through the stitches.
