This simply chic scarf looks clever and elegant, but is extremely easy to make
Like all minimal knits | DESIGNED scarves, MK#4 drapes beautifully, can be worn in all sorts of ways and is quick to knit because it uses needles larger than is usual for the yarn. An elongated boomerang shape with eyelet edges, it has the effect of being knitted on the bias.
In case you’d like to add a tiny bit of bling, the simply chic scarf pattern includes extremely easy instructions for setting beads into the knitting on two edges (not the edge that normally is closest to the neck), but of course using beads is entirely optional
Size varies depending on yarn type and meterage, without blocking, the green scarf is 62cm/24½in, by 140cm/55in, by 184cm/72½in and the silvery one measures 62cm/24in, by 134cm/42in, by 172cm/67in
Yarn needed: between 350 metres (394 yards) and 385 metres(421 yards) of Fingering/Sock/4 ply
Gauge doesn't matter but go up or down a needle size if knitting very tight or very loose
