Product Details
Colourwork socks look intricate, they are warm and cushiony soft. These socks are worked in mosaic knitting technique. Have you tried mosaic knitting? Two coloured mosaic looks amazing and is easier to knit than stranded colourwork. The mosaic pattern knits up using just one of the yarns at a time, no need to carry two yarns all the time like in Fair Isle knitting. Socks are worked from toe up with gusset and reinforced heel. Size refers to sock foot circumference. Socks can be worked on double pointed needles, two circular needles or on other types of needles convenient for the knitter for knitting small circumferences in the round. Using the Two-at-Time method to knit both socks at the same time is not encouraged because of the need to slip stitches from the beginning of the round to the end of the round, and contrary, on some rounds. The pattern uses metric and imperial systems. The pattern is fully charted.
