Product Details
Moments in Time is a symmetrical scarf that is crocheted from side to side that starts with a few stitches and ends with a few stitches. The body of the scarf is kept simple to show off the beautiful yarn, and the puff stitch scallop edging is crocheted as you work through the rows and adds a interesting element to the bottom edge of the scarf. The scarf uses a unique system of increases and decreases to add depth to the center of the scarf without consuming additional yarn or adding additional length.
Using only one skein of fingering weight yarn that is at least 420 yards, this is the perfect project to showcase that one lovely skein of fingering weight yarn you have been saving.
I used one of my favorites, Madelinetosh Tosh Merino Light, a single-ply fingering weight yarn (420 yards/100 grams) in the color “Star Scatter”.
