You’re going to love this baby blanket! The original “inspiration” blanket was my mom’s favorite baby blanket. She kept that pattern for decades and made it whenever there was a new baby in the family!
My mom's favorite blanket was worked in 7 strips with 19 curved motifs in each strip. The strips had to be sewn together before the edging was added. This made for lots of additional work. Plus there were so many ends to weave in!!!
This redesigned blanket is worked in rows instead of strips, with 1/7 as many ends to weave in and NO seaming! I hope you like it as much as I do!
There are over 90 step-by-step photos in this pattern to help YOU be successful in crocheting it!
The pattern is written for right-handed and left-handed crocheters. It includes symbol crochet charts for both hands, as well.
The pattern will work just fine if you’d like to use worsted weight yarn to make an afghan size instead of a baby blanket.
