A tiny mouse (only 2.75” tall) who can sit in the palm of your hand, or on your desk, or in a Christmas stocking or carry a little sign with a message for someone special. The pattern only uses 30 yards of sock yarn, so it's a great stash buster.
For an INTERMEDIATE knitter because the pattern uses interesting techniques such as short row shaping in stockinette stitch and pick ups through the middle of the fabric. The Mouse is mostly knitted flat on straight needles. The arms are knitted in the round on double pointed needles. Some sewing is required.
SKILLS REQUIRED Garter Stitch; Stockinette Stitch; Knitting in the round on dpns; M1L; SSK and K2tog (or left and right leaning decreases); Sewing together using fake grafting Picking Up stitches Short Row Shaping (fully explained in the pattern)
