What you'll need
Product Details
A Nativity set to make including a stable. The figures are all crocheted with the exception of a little knitting needed to make i-cords for the lamb's legs. I have mainly used 4ply cotton and I have listed most of the colours used. The faces were made with 4ply baby acrylic. DK was used for the lamb's body and the shepherd's shawls. The figures as shown are approx 16cm tall and take approx 28yds of 4ply cotton each. I have used thin drinking straws for the animal legs but you could substitute with cocktail sticks or cotton bud stems. The stable is made from card covered with fabric. I have used felt for the floor and upholstery quality needlecord for the walls and roof. This has a lovely wood effect and just happened to be in a sale. The shepherd's crook is made with a pipe cleaner and a straw..
