This pattern is for a buttoned cowl with a XOX cable pattern. The cable pattern is written and charted.
Size Child (Adult). The finished size is 40 (50)cm (16 (20)in) long, and 14cm (5.5in) tall.
Materials Aran weight yarn. Wool is recommended. 110 (140)m (120 (153)yds) 5 buttons, 2cm (0.75in) diameter
Equipment 40cm (16in) 4.5mm (US7) needles or needle size to match gauge 1 cable needle Yarn needle
Gauge 30sts and 32rows = 10cm (4in) square on 4.5mm (US7) needles worked in cable pattern, unstretched and blocked.
You will need to be able to knit, purl, kfb, k2tog, skp, yo, cable.
