Product Details
In the ancient Egyptian language Nefer meant beauty and goodness. The term can also refer to the white crown of Upper Egypt.
The nefer hieroglyph was used to decorate necklaces of particularly beautiful women, both in actual necklaces and artwork.
Designed by Anna Dalvi, from Ancient Egypt in Lace and Color, Cooperative Press.
The sample was knit in Claudia Hand Painted Yarns Linen Lace (now discontinued). A substitute yarn is shown below.
