Product Details

Can there ever be too many stripes? Pick three skeins in your favourite colours and stripe away to your heart’s content on this triangular garter stitch shawl. This breezy accessory begins at a point and is shaped gently as rows progress. The simple slip-stitch pattern breaks up the garter ground, blending the stripes together, while the colour change is designed to encourage you to do a few more rows. Then a few more. Because, truly, there are never enough stripes.

  • Difficulty Easy – Knitting, slipping stitches, working stripes, increases and decreases, simple finishing.
  • Yarn CoopKnits Socks Yeah! 4ply (75% superwash merino, 25% nylon; 50 g / 232 yds / 212 m), #105 Danburite (Light Grey) colour A, #107 Beryl (Blue) colour B, #102 Ammolite (Pink) colour C; 1 skein each. Substitute with approximately 180 yds / 200 m of 4-ply/sock/fingering weight yarn in each colour.
  • Gauge 23 sts and 46 rows = 4 in / 10 cm in garter stitch, unblocked.
