Product Details
This is the FIRST pattern in a year-long journey of knitted sock patterns, twelve in all, a new one each month, beginning January 2018. The patterns are inspired by streets, homes, and places of interest from my little town in Southeastern Connecticut. The entire year-long series is available as an ebook on Ravelry at HALF PRICE until December 31.
Across the street from the first Baptist Church that was organized in 1775 is a regal home, complete with a third-floor turret that offers stunning views of Stonington Harbor. Built in 1903, the house and gardens are being lovingly restored by the present owners, beginning with smart herringbone brickwork on the new chimney recently installed. This pattern features two designs, mixing the colors and textures of the aged bricks and the beautiful old stones of the foundation, reclaimed from a nearby town.
