Product Details
Nonni is a sport-weight shrug/bolero that I designed for my mom. It is knit up in a single piece, worked from the bottom up. It has a ribbed border on both ends, and the middle section is stockinette with a lace panel in the center. The lace panel began as the word Nonni encoded into the stitches.
Nonni has become my go-to sweater for both dressy and casual. It works really well over a dress or even with jeans and a tee-shirt.
The shrug is meant to have at least 4” of postive ease. The openings for the arms hit just below the elbow. You can adjust the length of the shrug and the fit of the armholes by increasing or decreasing the number of rows in the center section.
