When I was a teenager I loved to knit Norwegian designs.
Now I saw a hat, that incorporated an Icelandic pattern but changed the front and back color in the pattern.
I needed a beanie like that, too! :)
So here it is.
It's a Nordic star with a rhombus border pattern.
The ribbing is one color.
And last but not least at the top is a Nordic star, too!
It has only two colors but as you have rather long strands, please cross the strands over the working yarn every 3 to 4 stitches.
If you do that, it will be also manageable by stranded knitting beginners.

Als 14-jährige hab ich gerne Norwegermuster gestrickt.
Besonders die Sterne haben's mir angetan.
Neulich sah ich zufällig eine Mütze mit einem Islandmuster, wo die Vorder- und Hintergrundfarbe mitten im Muster wechselte.
Sowas wollte ich auch machen.
Hier ist sie.
Der Bund ist einfarbig, die Mütze hat einen grossen Norwegerstern und als Bordüre ein kleines Rhomenmuster.
