Product Details
If I walk about a mile or two from my house, I can look out over the North Sea. The next land I would reach, if I set off in a boat and didn’t drown, would be Norway.
I was lucky enough to visit the city of Tromsø in Norway in early 2023. Tromsø has three cathedrals, although one isn't strictly speaking a cathedral. It also has three yarn shops. I bought some yarn and knitted it into this large wrap. It is essentially a large rectangle with a longitudinal slit so that it fits nicely round the shoulders, leaving the arms free to put the kettle on and drink tea.
The wrap is knitted in 8 colours but you can use any number of colours that take your fancy.
It's a fairly simple lace pattern based on the traditional "feather and fan"
It can be knitted in any DK or sport weight yarn.
