Product Details

I like mittens with coloured patterns, and I love mittens that use interesting wrist techniques. So I had a lot of fun with this pattern. I created 5 sizes, which are variations of the same design: 3 sizes from baby to young child, and two adult sizes, small and large female hand.

Don’t be afraid if you have never knit that kind of cuff, I included tutorials for those techniques!

You will notice that the smaller version has no thumb… Not only is it useless at this age, it’s also very difficult to put on!

These mittens have two versions for the wrist: a version with a ribbed wrist, and a version without. The version with the ribs is a little more difficult to knit, but it brings a little warmth to the wrist that is not to be neglected during extreme cold.

The pattern includes a table with quantities needed for each colour and size, if you want to use leftovers to knit the mittens.
