Product Details
NFO The mellifluous name ‘Olas del Mar’ is Spanish for ‘waves of the sea’. In this almost-symmetrical triangular shawl, waves cascade over the surface in a continuous, undulating texture that can be minimally blocked for a three-dimensional effect or more strenuously stretched for a lacier fabric.
Although it looks like cables, there is not one cable involved in the lace stitch pattern.
As shown in a blue colorway called Meander (Erika Knight Wild Wool), the accessory suggests a fascinating maritime meld of geometric and organic patterns. An I-cord bind-off provides a neat finish to the striking graphic design, which is easy to work from fully written-out directions with stitch counts, a schematic and a chart.
