Product Details
Named Osku old Irish for friend is this relaxed dress adorned with large sculptural cables and crowned by an I-cord. The sleeves are all in stockinette stitch to allow the cables to stand out and are worked top down. While the body is worked bottom up in the round - with shaping for the hips and bust - to the armholes, then back and forth with only the shoulders sewn together. Osku is knitted in the divine Silky Wool by Elsebeth Lavold and can be worn together with the matching Cowl; Piran.
Gauge: 22 sts and 30 rnds/rows in St st using 4 mm/US 6 needle measures 10 cm square after blocking.
Notes: The body is worked in the round from the bottom and up. While the sleeves are worked top down. Only the shoulders are seamed together.
