The pattern is written in US terminology.
The finished panda ends up approximately 10.5cm tall using similar yarn and hook size. Thinner yarn and a smaller hook size will produce a smaller toy and vice versa.
Gauge is not important - just make sure the stitches are tight enough so that the stuffing doesn’t show through.
