The stitch definition is good; the yarn soft, yet will wear fairly well. The blend of super wash wool and polyamide is the reason. I like the length of the color changes, not too quick and still long enough to stripe. I’ve just started making socks again, and they make wonderful gifts.
The sock yarn is soft and the color changes are long enough to stripe, but short enough to not look like you changed yarns.

Yes this is another brand I like. The cost of the wool is very competitive. This is important to me because I knit my socks during the year to sell for a small profit which I give to my favourite charities . I have however found the odd knot and occasionally, after the knot the yarn has been wound the opposite way which has to be sorted out before I can complete .
I am pleased with the wool and enjoying seeing the patterns emerging as I knit.
