“TAKE MY SOUL, TAKE MY LIFE, BUT FROM MY BREAD OF THE DEATH, NOT A BITE”
As the Day Of The Death approaches, in México we devote ourselves to eating Pan de muerto quite often (if not daily). Its circular shape represents the cycle of life and death. The little ball on the top symbolizes the skull of the deceased, and the strips (4) in a cross our bones and also the tears that have been shed. Water or orange blossom essence is also added to remember them.
It is a fun and quick project (just a couple of hours), and its size is perfect for The Catrina or Dia de muertos doll, let her take a bite of this sugar coat and orange smell bread.
