DK Knitted Easter Egg Covers - Set of Two Space Fun Knitting Patterns - made the perfect size for 98g (ish) Chocolate Easter Eggs and Creme Eggs!
Please note - due to either small knitted pieces, or the use of plastic eyes, these are not suitable for children under 3yrs old
Perfect for a confident beginner, simple easy to follow pattern. Stitch skills you will need are just knit and purl. These patterns use a picot edge, which will require you to yarn over (wrap the yarn around the needle) and knit the next two stitches together to create a small hole as part of the pattern.
Thanks to the neat fitting of the cosies - these will all stand independently whilst on the eggs, and make a great display.
Aldi and other supermarkets do their own version of this size egg, and most retail at around £1. This cosy will fit any brand of that size egg, and other versions of the creme egg.
Ideal little quick knits for fundraising, and to add fun to any Easter egg hunt!
