Product Details
This is a fairly lacy design with a feature of rows of circles which look a little like peacock tail 'eyes' which, along with the self-striping Scheepjes Whirl yarn, give the shawl its name.
This pattern was tested with 3 fingering weight (4 ply) yarns. I used a 4mm hook with the Scheepjes Whirl, but a tester used a 3.5mm hook for the Bendigo Woollen Mills Cotton 4 ply. In other words, you will need to experiment a little to decide which hook size works best for you with whatever yarn you use.
