Product Details
Pedal to the Heddle uses the same stitch pattern as my shawl pattern, Heddle. A heddle is part of a weaving loom. The stitch pattern used looks like a woven fabric, but it’s created using knit, purl and basic lace eyelets. The woven pattern is used together with a smattering of mock cables and basic ribbing for a deceptively simple stitch pattern.
Techniques Used in the Pattern:
Knit and purl
Decreases (ssk, k2tog, sl 1-k2-psso)
Increases (m1a, yo)
Knit through the back loop (k-tbl)
Slipped stitches
Kitchener Stitch (tutorial provided)
This pattern has been professionally tech edited and test knitted.
