Product Details
Peonies planted at the outermost perimeter of a garden will frame it in a glorious floral display. The Peony Perimeter shawl’s lacy border of grand blooms will indulge you and impress others all year long.
Peony Perimeter is a crescent-shaped shawl. It requires 400-700 meters of fingering weight yarn. Use needle size that gives you a nice lacy effect. The shawl can be enlarged by adding additional repeats. The pattern is charted, wrong side rows are a combination of knits and purls.
Large purple shawl used 2 skeins Lioness Arts BFL Sock in Heartache [100% Wool, 437yd/400m per 100g] on 4.0 mm (US 6) needles. Blocked size: 112 x 50 cm (44 x 21 inches). Gauge: 17 stitches = 10 cm in pattern.
Smaller pale pink shawl used 1 skein Lioness Arts BFL Sock in Matildas Happy Ending [100% Wool, 437yd/400m per 100g] on 3.75 mm (US 5) needles. Blocked size: 102 x 43 cm (40 x 17 inches). Gauge: 18 stitches = 10 cm in pattern.
Until September 2013, this pattern was available exclusively as part of Lioness Arts yarn and pattern yarn club.
