Product Details
Knit and sew a cheeky personalised owl in colourful DK yarn.
This sweet pattern is suitable for even the most nervous knitters, and the knitted-up and personalised owl also makes a lovely handmade gift. A full alphabet template is included with the pattern.
You can use any Double Knitting Yarn to make these owls so they are perfect for using up your stash! We used several makes in the images shown: Hayfield Bonus DK (light blue) Marriner DK Midget 25g in Madonna (Blue) Lavender (main image) and Turquoise. If you want to make a stripy owl you can change yarn colours every few rows.
You will also need: a pair of 3mm straight knitting needles, darning needle, sharp sewing needle, stuffing, cotton, felt, and a pair of 6mm black safety eyes (with press on plastic backs)
