These Pilgrims are knit in the round, using Magic Loop or double pointed needles. The base/body/feet or legs/body, arms and head are all knit on as you work along. The clothing is not removable. Pilgrim Boy is approx. 7” (sitting, from bench seat up, without hat) and Pilgrim Girl is approx. 8 ½” tall (without hat). Pilgrims are created using #4-Worsted Wt. (Aran/10-ply) yarn. GIRL: Body Color: 50 yds. Main Color: 80 yds. White Color: 110 yds. Hair Color: 40 yds. BOY: Body Color: 50 yds. Main Color: 70 yds. White Color: 40 yds. Black Color: 80 yds. Hair Color: 40 yds. PUMPKINS: 10 yds. each BASKET: 20 yds. 2” diameter Plastic Canvas Circle (for base of Girl: could be cut from rectangle piece) 2 ½” x 4 ½” Plastic Canvas Rectangle (for bench) Buttons for “Buckles”- ½” for shoes (2), ¾” for hat & belt, 3 Toothpicks (to stabilize bench seat), Safety Eyes: 8mm or embroidery thread/yarn, Embroidery thread or yarn for mouth & nose, Crochet Hook (for attaching hair)
