Product Details
Something about orderly rows of pine needles is very appealing. Somehow, they strike a nice balance between rigid order and lively randomness. Pine needles also translate well into lace knitting, and make for a stately but casual stitch pattern.
Double thick mittens with a pine needle lace stich on the front. The lining is knit separatly from the outside, they are not double knit!
They are knit in the round, starting with cuff of the outside. Once the outside is knit, you pull out the provisional cast on and knit the lining from there. The thumbs are afterthought.
You will need one ball for the outside, and another for the contrasting lining.
The pattern includes line by line instructions as well as charts.
