Product Details
Proceeds from the sale of this pattern will be donated to the Pinky Swear Foundation. Their mission: Helping kids with cancer and their families with financial and emotional support.
To make a pinky promise, or pinky swear, is a traditional gesture most commonly practiced amongst children involving the locking of the pinkies of two people to signify that a promise has been made.
PATTERN NOTES: The little “bows” of texture stitches on this design reminded me of two little hands connected at the pinky fingers and I couldn’t get that image out of my mind. The hat is a companion piece to the mitts and is worked with 2 texture rounds for every 5 of stockinette and will knit up quickly. The beanie is meant to be knit with 1-2”/2.5-5 cm of negative ease. Video links are provided within the pattern for stitch pattern support.
