Product Details

Pip the Pohutukawa Fairy is the first of the New Zealand Native fairy series. Pohutukawa is known as the New Zealand Christmas tree and the species is well known around the South Pacific.

She stands approximately 30cm tall works up very quickly.

Pip the Pohutukawa Fairy is a nearly seamless crochet doll; her arms must be sewn on. Wires are used in my designs so they can be moveable dolls, you can omit this step and use polyester stuffing if you wish.

Materials used include 8 ply yarn, crochet cotton for eyes along with various tools including wire, hot glue gun and polyester stuffing.

The pattern is in PDF format, English with US terms. The document is 22 pages in length and includes detailed instructions and numerous photo tutorials to guide you through the process of creating her. Skill level is Intermediate so a basic knowledge of crochet stitches is needed.
