Product Details
Worked in two coloured brioche, this crescent shaped shawl starts with a simple body followed by a more detailed border. The shawl is resizable by changing either the size of the body or the number of repeats of the border.
To me the border motif looks like feathers, so I named the shawl ‘plumology’, meaning the study of feathers.
The pattern has both written instructions and charts. Detailed descriptions and a photo tutorial of the more unusual stitches are also included.
Materials:• Fingering or light fingering weight yarn in two colours, MC and CC, approximately 450m (500yds) of each. • 3.5mm/US 4 circular needles with a 80cm/32” or longer cable. • Tapestry needle to weave in ends.
