Pocket Surprise Cardi (with 8 tiny toys)

A little cardi with moss stitch bands and a choice of a neckband or collar. Made bottom up in one piece to armholes for the body, and top down sleeves so they can be lengthened if required. There are 6 pockets, each has a toy on a cord with a clip at the end, that fastens to a loop inside the pocket (this is optional, but is handy for littlies who chuck their toys!). There are patterns for 8 toys to give you a choice: a ball, a doughnut ring with different textures, a chook, a cat, a sheep, a triangular smiley face, a caterpillar and an owl. They average approx 6 cms in size. Make the cardi in bright stripes, self striping yarn such as Mini Mochi or Noro, or just one colour. The toys can be matching yarn, or use up your scraps (sock yarn is good). There are 4 sizes to fit approximate ages from 1 - 5 years. (Model is aged 4 and 3/4 and is wearing the 60 cm, 4 - 5 yrs size).
