Based on traditional counterpane squares, this is an impressive and cloud-soft piece of knitting. Easier than it looks. Worked on 6mm / US 10 needles. This shawl has been exhibited in the Museum for Textiles, Toronto. It is assembled from four squares with a lace edging, all joined with a simple netting stitch. The pattern is charted and written row by row.
