Product Details
Popcorn Dreams is a long, narrow crescent shaped scarf/neck wrap with a dragon’s tooth shaping on the outer edge. The delicate, lacy texture of eyelets & popcorns makes it ideal for spring and autumn, especially when made with that one precious skein of hand dyed merino 4 ply. (Sock yarn works well as it has a little more yardage but the pattern gives tips on how to ensure you don't run out of yarn before finishing, or how to make it bigger if you have more yarn.)
I have tried it with DK as well - you need about the same amount in metres, it just comes out a bit larger.
Designed for the adventurous beginner / intermediate crocheter, the four row pattern repeat is easy to memorise and works up really fast - you just need to take care with your shapings. You’ll be done before you know it!!
The full and comprehensive written pattern (UK terms) should mean you can’t go wrong. And if you prefer a chart, there is a full 3 page chart, which includes a Key to Symbols with both UK & US terms.

- Notes
- I like to use a single hank of hand dyed merino. You will need approx 400-425 metre. The pattern shows up better with a solid/lightly speckled yarn.
