This pattern is unique in structure. I have provided full written instructions for a Super Bulky version, then there is a spreadsheet you can use to get numbers to work the same pattern in any gauge and at any size!
Positano is a perfect quick knit: fun, interesting, not too difficult. I adore this stitch pattern for its simplicity and versatility. The Super Bulky version (small size) takes one skein. It can be made larger if you've got more yarn, but it will do a lot with a little.
Don't have a ball of Super Bulky? Then take the Steps to Positano route to use what you have. The Calculator will give you the numbers you need. I've done videos to take you from thestart to the finish — and explaineverything in between. This is a moebius. It is difficult to find a way to get a measurement that works on a Möbius. Calculating Neck Opening below for how I did it--but it isn't a guarantee it will precisely yield what you will get.
