Inside big cardboard boxes, a child is transported to a world of his or her own, one where anything is possible. - anonymous
A collaboration with Woolens and Nosh Yarn and a companion piece to the Pretty Boxes Sweater. Easy colorwork using 3 contrast colors provide a lovely graphic look to this hat that can match your sweater or knit all on its own. This is a great piece for using up small DK weight scraps and there are many projects over on the Pretty Boxes Sweater project pages on Ravelry featuring inspiring color combinations.
This colorwork pattern is charted and worked from the bottom up. Feel free to mix and match our colors to suit your preferences. This hat can be lengthened to a slouchy style by adding rounds of plain knitting.
Note: from my testers - this hat definitely has a slouch factor, to make it shorter, eliminate the rows between “boxes.”
This contains two patterns: Folded Brim and Beanie, both are included as a combined PDF.
