I imagined spring, light and airy socks, with a pretty lace on the ankle and a picot edge.
These socks are proposed with two options for the heel: a heel with gusset and heel-flap and an afterthought heel.

You will need about 140 (160/190/220) meters / 150 (180/210/250) yards of fingering sock yarn for main colour and 40 (60/90/120) meters / 45 (65/110/150) yards for contrasting colour. For a solid version, you will need about 180 (220/280/340) meters / 195 (235/320/400) yards.
