You can use any yarn size for these pumpkins. I have used Chunky/Bulky weight acrylic yarn with a 6mm hook. My pot measures approximately 15cm/6” in diameter to the widest point and has an internal pot measurement of 7.5cm/3” wide by 6cm/2.5” deep. An ideal size to hold a large handful of individually wrapped sweets.
