Product Details

This is a pattern for a lightweight wrap. It is the ideal weight for a spring or fall evening, or even if you’re sensitive to air conditioning in the summer. It is made up of lace stitch that is a true lace, open in parts, and very dimensional in other parts of the stitch. The lace stitch, which is one of the lessor known ones, is both written out line by line, and charted. The final size is 21 inches by 72 inches. There are instructions contained within the pattern for making it more dimensional, and increasing the size, should you want to. There are also instructions for an optional crocheted edging contained within the pattern, should you want it edged.

Skill Level: Intermediate + (assuming a basic knowledge of lace knitting)

No crochet hooks needed if you don't want the optional edging.

Most heavy weight fingering weigh yarns or sport weight yarns will work with this pattern if you can get a gauge of 5 sts/inch in lace stitch, moderately blocked.  I used US #5 (3.75mm) needle.
