What you'll need
Product Details
Wee Black Faced Sheep has returned home to Scotland to celebrate Burns Night with his nearest and dearest. Each year on January 25th the MacSporran family honor Robbie Burns birthday by hosting a traditional Burns Supper. What could be better than the skirl of pipes, a little of Robbie’s poetry, haggis ‘n’ neeps and a dram or two of whisky?
The pattern includes Jacobite shirt, kilt, belt, bagpipes and sporran. It does not include the Wee Blackface Sheep pattern which is also available at Loveknitting. There are many photographs and diagrams provided to help with techniques, embroidery and making up. In addition to the stated materials you will require fingering/4ply wool suitable for felting: Approx 8-10 g in brown for ‘Heilan Coo’, 3-5 g pink for ‘nose‘, 3-5 g natural for ‘horns’ plus oddments of 4ply wool in 4-5 additional colours for pipes and to create the plaid panel of kilt.
