Product Details
Description: A scarf made with a modular knitting technique. You’ll work only with one element (module) at the time. Each element is knitted with garter stitch. The pattern describes specific numbers of elements but you can always customize your project.
Skills: You’ll need to know how to knit, do simple decreases, pick up sts on the side of the work, do knitted cast on.
Materials: 800 yds (730 m) of fingering yarn, sample made with 2 skeins of Yarn Bee Authentic Hand Dyed 100% Merino wool 400 yds (365 m)/100 grams.
Needles: size US 6 (4 mm) straight or circular needles at least 8’’ long.
Notions: marker and tapestry needle
Gauge: 24 sts and 48 rows = 4” (10 cm) in garter stitch
Size: One size, finished size 7” (18 cm) wide and 7.5’ (230 cm) long
