Product Details
Maybe this should be called Evolution as it has evolved from Curve of Pursuit.
It was our first afghan design not based entirely on sound geometric principles. It relies on the pliant nature of the knitting to allow some distortion which creates the zig-zag swirl.
It is much easier than it looks. It is worked in one piece, using one colour at a time and with a maximum of around one hundred stitches on the needles. There is a tiny amount of stitching to be done.
The afghan in the photos was worked in Double Knitting (DK) yarns and measures approximately 140 cm (55”) across. The instruction booklet allows you to use any yarn of your choice to create an afghan the size you want. You could even make it in a very small size, as a pillow. It also includes several variations of the design, using 2, 4 or 8 colours and different types of swirls and zig-zags.
