What you'll need
Product Details
A simple but striking lace pattern travels the length of this two colour cowl. The main colour sections are slightly longer than the contrast sections adding interest.
Choose your favourite colour for the main and a contrasting or complimentary colour for the second or two colours which compliment your favourite coat.
You will need four x 50g balls of yarn, two balls of yarn in each of two colours.
Rhombic is knitted flat and seamed into a cowl but of course you can leave it as a scarf if you wish.
This cowl is suitable for the adventurous advanced beginner or intermediate knitter. The same lace pattern repeats thought the piece. Techniques in the pattern include directional decreases (k2tog, ssk) and yarn over increases both before and after knit and purl stitches. Wrong side rows contain both knit and purl stitches. The lace pattern is both charted and written and includes the edging stitches.
Instructions for seaming, with photos, are included in the pattern.
