A bright baby blanket - if selecting your own colours, choose shades from the opposite side of the colour wheel for maximum contrast. Each of the 3 different squares is worked in a pair of colours, swapping internal and external shades to give 6 different motifs. The suggested layout gives a suduko like pattern, but the squares could equally be arranged in rows or diagonal stripes.
