Product Details
One of Rico's most popular yarns, and deservedly so, Rico Essentials Merino DK is a superfine superwash wool that can be washed in the machine at low temperatures. Knitting up on US 6 (4mm) needles, this fabulously soft yarn is perfect for any DK project, and is available in the most amazing range of colors: modern neutrals and grays, jewels and muted berry shades alongside stunning pastels. Brilliant value, great stitch definition - this is a winner for your DK patterns!

I have only just started making a second cowl neck cabled jumper using this beautiful Rico Marino wool but the wool is knitting up delightfully. The first 15cm of the back looks great and the yarn has not irritated my wool sensitive skin.
Beautiful yarn and a pleasure to use. The finished cowl will be lovely to wear in the cooler weather.
Nice wool. Washes well. I like pure wool - supports farmers, doesn’t pollute environment with man made fibres and feels nicer to wear.
Easy to use soft and strong. Good deep hue
It has a lovely finish and washes well. I have 6 grandchildren and they all wear the garments and they still look great after loads of washes and lots of rough and tumble
I only knit with natural and or recycled yarn
