A cushioning layer under ankle boots, the Riddikulus boot cuffs are designed for a 4-ply sock yarn with a guide to adjusting the pattern for a finer 2-ply or slightly thicker Double-knitting yarn. They are knit in 2x2 rib on double-pointed needles (or a small circular needles). Example 4-ply yarns that would be suitable include West Yorkshire Spinner's Signature 4-ply, Regia's 4-ply sock wool or Adriafil's Calzasocks (pictured in grey).
