Product Details

Named Riona, Irish for queenly, is this fitted pullover graced with Celtic cables and crowned by a collar ending in a regal I-cord. A peplum looking bottom band, in double seed stitch with a tuck and a narrow band of reverse stockinette stitch, adds a touch of nobility to the sweater. The sleeves are worked in stockinette stitch, except for the cuffs, to allow the cables to shine. Riona is worked in pieces for the ultimate fit and knitted in the airy Norwegian combed yarn Ask from Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk.

Intended ease: 5-7 cm/2-2.75” positive ease. Sample shown is 85 cm/33.5” and worn with 1 cm/0.5” positive ease on model.

Meterage: 1166 (1292, 1418, 1544, 1742) (1940, 2138, 2336, 2534) m

Gauge: 22 sts and 30 rows in st st using 3.5 mm/US 4 needle measures 10 cm/4” square after blocking.

Notes: The pullover is worked back and forth in separate pieces and seamed.
