Product Details
Two coloured cables look amazing and they are relatively easy to knit if you feel comfortable with knitting the cables and following the charted stitch pattern.
I designed the pattern for a MKAL held in the handicraft forum. I introduced seven slip-stitch patterns for the MKAL and this one turned out to be the most popular. I decided to write down the pattern and knit a pair of socks for myself simultaneously. The pattern in translated to German as well.
The beauty of the pattern is that you knit just with one strand of yarn at time, do not need to carry on both yarns same time. That’s good, right? The pattern is written for knitting the socks on dpn’s from the toe-up with short row heels or short row reinforced heels. Alternatively the socks can be knitted up in any other way that is comfortable for the knitter using just the chart for the leg pattern. The size affects width of the sock, length is adjustable.
Happy knitting!
